Why We Built This Site
Bexar does not offer one public search that covers every warrant. The county’s active-felony map shows a defined felony subset, while the Justice Information Portal combines court-record, fugitive, and bail-bond searches but excludes secured categories and does not provide every warrant document. The District Clerk, County Clerk, four justice-of-the-peace precincts, and separate municipal courts retain records within their own jurisdictions. A missing result from one source cannot establish that no warrant exists elsewhere.
What You Will Find Here
- Starting a search: the Bexar County warrant check page distinguishes county tools from court and city records.
- Reading an active-list result: the active felony map has fields such as warrant number, charge, case number, and issue date, but its update cadence is not posted.
- Missed appearances: municipal and JP bench-warrant questions usually belong with the court that set the case; they are not necessarily held in a countywide list.
- Case-based warrants: felony, misdemeanor, traffic, and city-court records can follow different clerk and law-enforcement routes.
- Resolution: readers are directed to the issuing court or Sheriff’s Office for status, required appearance, bond, and documented clearance.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not an office of Bexar County, a court, or law enforcement. It cannot perform a live official check or change a court record. In particular:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that a phone number, fee, online result, or court schedule is current at the time you read it
Only the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's warrant unit that holds it can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages include sponsored search results supplied by third parties. Those companies operate their own services, set their own prices, and determine the data they return. A referral fee may be earned if a visitor signs up through a sponsored result. Their records are not Bexar County court or Sheriff’s Office records, may not include local warrant information, and cannot confirm whether a warrant remains outstanding. Review the provider’s own terms before submitting information.
